The 2018 awards premiered the Jack Dodd Perpetual Rookie of the Year award, presented by Trish and David Dodd and won by Michael G. Duffy of Co. Mayo.
Hosted at the Killashee House Hotel in Naas, Co. Kildare, this annual awards gala evening was dedicated to the celebration of the national and international successes of Irish Show Jumping Equestrian riders.
While we weren’t originally planning to launch the foundation to the public until Spring/Summer of 2019, we couldn’t pass up this wonderful opportunity presented to us by the Show Jumpers Club and HorseSport Ireland and are incredibly grateful for all the support shown to us on the night. The evening was a testament to the Irish show jumping community and boasted some impressive achievements by local and internationally based riders alike.
We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank all the wonderful individuals and companies who offered their time and services to be placed up for the evenings silent and live
auctions, helping raise thousands of euros to help kick-start the foundation. The feedback we received from everyone was overwhelming and we can’t wait to begin to share more information with you all over the next few months.
